SMSC stands for spiritual, moral, social and cultural education. It is all the things that we do in school to build up children’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural understanding, thoughts and experiences. It is not taught as a standalone lesson, but is central to all we do.
The ethos of the school, and the enrichment experiences on offer compliment the robustly planned curriculum to ensure that all pupils have plentiful opportunities to develop spiritually, morally, socially and emotionally.
